I. Definitions

  1. Personal Data – all information about a natural person identified or identifiable by one or more specific factors determining their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity, including device IP, location data, and online identifier;
  2. Policy – this Privacy Policy;
  3. GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC
  4. Website – the website operated by the Personal Data Controller at https://kongresprodukcjiswin.pl
  5. User – any natural person visiting the Website or using one or more services or functionalities described in the Policy.

II. Personal Data Administrator (PDA)

III. Purposes and basis of personal data processing

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of:
  1. Fulfilling the order, i.e. purchasing a ticket to the Pig Production Congress – in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (concluded contract)
  2. Enabling the User to contact the Data Controller by completing the contact form – in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (User consent);
  3. Marketing and newsletter – in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a of the GDPR (User consent);
  4. Issuing invoices and bookkeeping – in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c (legal obligation);
  5. Providing certificates and invoices online – in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR (concluded Agreement);
  6. Establishing, pursuing, or defending potential claims related to the services provided by the Data Controller – in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the Data Controller);
  7. Archiving and evidentiary purposes, for the purpose of securing information that may be used to demonstrate legally significant facts – in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the Data Controller).

IV. Scope of data processing

Depending on how you use the Website, we may process the following data:
  • name and surname,
  • email address,
  • phone number,
  • invoicing details (company name, Tax Identification Number, address),
  • training participant details,
  • training purchase history,
  • IP address, cookie identifiers.

V. Period of storage of personal data

  1. If personal data are processed for the purposes of: establishing, pursuing, or defending potential claims related to the services provided by the Data Controller, fulfilling the contract for the provision of recruitment services, archiving, and evidentiary purposes, personal data are processed until the statute of limitations for claims expires.
  2. If personal data are processed for the purposes of: processing applications submitted by the User via the application form, marketing, subscribing to the newsletter, and enabling contact with the Data Controller, personal data are processed until the consent granted is withdrawn.

VI. Recipients of personal data

The Website uses the services of external entities that support it in its operations. Your data is entrusted for processing – these entities process data, in particular, upon documented instructions. It should be emphasized that your personal data will not be processed by entities outside the European Union.
  1. Service Providers – Your personal data is transferred to service providers used by the Data Controller to operate the Website. Service providers, depending on contractual arrangements and circumstances, are either subject to the Data Controller’s instructions regarding the purposes and methods of processing such data (processors) or independently determine the purposes and methods of processing (controllers).
  2. Processors – The Data Controller uses suppliers who process your personal data solely on our instructions. These include, in particular, an accounting firm and an online payment operator. Furthermore, these processors provide cloud hosting services for the Data Controller, online marketing systems, web push notification display, email sending, website traffic analysis, and marketing campaign effectiveness analysis, as well as support the implementation of specific services and functionalities.
  3. Controllers – The Data Controller uses suppliers who do not act solely on our instructions and independently determine the purposes and methods of using personal data. They provide remarketing campaign services and conduct statistical research for us. The Website also uses Facebook.   4. State authorities – PDC may disclose your personal data if requested to do so by authorized state authorities, in particular organizational units of the prosecutor’s office, the Police, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, or the President of the Office of Electronic Communications.

VII. User rights

  1. Right to withdraw consent – you have the right to withdraw the consent you gave at the time of registration, as well as when using certain services and functionalities. Withdrawal of consent takes effect from the moment of withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawful processing we carried out before its withdrawal.Legal basis: Article 7(3) of the GDPR
  2. Right to object to the use of data – You have the right to object to the use of your personal data at any time. If the objection proves to be justified and the Data Controller has no other legal basis for processing your personal data, the Data Controller will delete the data to which you objected.Legal basis: Article 21 of the GDPR
  3. Right to erasure – You have the right to request the erasure of all or some of your personal data. We will treat a request to delete all personal data as a request to delete your account on the website. Despite a request to delete personal data, in connection with an objection or withdrawal of consent, the Data Controller may retain certain personal data to the extent necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.   4. Right to restriction of data processing – you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. If you submit such a request, you may be prevented from using certain functionalities or services of the website until the request is considered.Legal basis: Article 17 of the GDPR 18 GDPR
  5. Right to access data – you have the right to obtain confirmation from the Data Controller as to whether we are processing your personal data and:
    • obtain access to your personal data;
    • obtain information about the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients of this data, the planned storage period of the data or the criteria for determining that period, your rights under the GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, the source of this data, automated decision-making, including profiling, and the safeguards applied in connection with the transfer of this data outside the European Union;

  6. Right to rectification – you have the right to rectify and complete the personal data you have provided.Legal basis: Art. 16 GDPR
  7. Right to data portability – you have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to the Data Controller and then send it to another personal data controller of your choice, e.g., to another operator of similar services.Legal basis: Art. 20 of the GDPR
If you find that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Office for Personal Data Protection.

VIII. Deadline for the PDC to respond

IX. Cookies

  1. Cookies are small text files saved and stored on devices used by the User to access the Website.
  2. External cookies are cookies of the Website’s partners and for integration with external systems, which are related to their use of the Website.
  3. The cookie mechanism does not allow for the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from the User’s device.
  4. Cookies are intended for use with the website. We use two types of cookies:
    • Session cookies – which are stored on the User’s device and remain there until the browser session ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the User’s device.
    • Persistent cookies – which are stored on the User’s device and remain there until the User deletes them. Ending a browser session or turning off a device does not delete them from that device.
    • Cookies are also used by our external partners to collect statistics and User data in aggregated and individual form. We use analytical tools to optimize our website and present offers that are interesting to the User.
  5. Accessing the Website’s pages displays a message stating your consent to the processing of personal data obtained using cookies. If you do not consent, cookies responsible for collecting data for statistical and marketing purposes will be disabled.
  6. The Website uses cookies to
