Terms and conditions

These Regulations define the terms and conditions of the Pig Production Congress website, available at: https://kongresprodukcjiswin.pl, which allows you to purchase participation in the event.

The website is managed by the organizer of the Pig Production Congress, K2 Agro Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, with its registered office in Poznań (61-175), ul. Krokusowa 21, for which the registration files are kept by the District Court Poznań – Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs under the KRS number: 0001060355, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 7773413009 and National Business Registry Number (REGON): 52656373000000, represented by: Karolina Krasicka – President of the Management Board, hereinafter referred to as: “K2 Agro”

§ 1. Definitions

  1. Organizer – K2 Agro Limited Liability Company with its registered office in Poznań (61-175), ul. Krokusowa 21, KRS: 0001060355, NIP: 7773413009, REGON: 52656373000000;
  2. Website – the Congress website available at https://kongresprodukcjiswin.pl/, managed by the Organizer;
  3. Congress – the Pig Production Congress, an industry event organized by K2 Agro in a stationary format, held once a year, on the date and location indicated on the Website;
  4. Registering Party – a natural person, legal entity, or organizational unit that registers for the Congress via the Purchase Form or payment gateway, regardless of whether they are participating in the Congress as a Participant;
  5. Participant – a natural person indicated in the application who physically takes part in the Congress. The Applicant and the Participant may, but do not have to, be the same person;
  6. Discount Ticket – a ticket to participate in the Congress at a preferential price, available only to persons meeting the criteria specified in § 4, purchased via the Purchase Form;
  7. Standard Ticket – a ticket to participate in the Congress at a standard price, purchased via the Przelewy24 payment gateway on the k2agro.pl website;
  8. Purchase Form – a form available on the Website through which the Applicant submits a request for the purchase of a Discount Ticket;
  9. Contact Form – a form available on the Website enabling contact with the Organizer on matters related to the Congress, not being a purchase form;
  10. Agreement – an agreement concluded between the Organizer and the Applicant, the subject of which is the participation of the Participant or Participants in Congress;
  11. GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC;
  12. Act on the provision of services by electronic means – Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2020, item 344, as amended).

§ 2. General Provisions

  1. These Regulations define the rules of participation in the Congress, the types of tickets available, the terms of their purchase, and the rules of use. Website.
  2. The Website is available via the Internet at https://kongresprodukcjiswin.pl/.
  3. Using the Purchase Form or Contact Form constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  4. These Terms and Conditions constitute an integral part of the Agreement concluded between the Applicant and the Organizer.
  5. All intellectual property rights to the Website and Congress materials, including the name, logo, visual identification, program, promotional materials, and content published on the Website, are the property of the Organizer or entities with which the Organizer has entered into appropriate agreements and are subject to legal protection.
  6. Modification, copying, distribution, or use of the materials indicated in paragraph 5 without the Organizer’s consent is prohibited.
  7. To use the Website, you must have a device with internet access and a web browser that can display websites and accept cookies.
  8. Information about the processing of personal data by the Organizer and the rights of the Applicant and Participant can be found in the Privacy Policy available on the Website.

§ 3. Technical Requirements

  1. Technical requirements necessary to use the Website:
    • Internet connection,
    • Internet browser capable of displaying HTML documents (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge or another compatible browser), with cookies enabled.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to: that using the Website may involve standard risks associated with using the Internet and recommends taking appropriate security measures.
  3. To use the Purchase Form or Contact Form, you must have an active email address.

§ 4. Ticket Types and Qualification Criteria

  1. The Organizer provides two types of tickets for participation in the Congress:
    • Discount Ticket – at the price and under the terms indicated on the Website, purchased exclusively via the Purchase Form,
    • Standard Ticket – at the price and under the terms indicated on the Website, purchased via the Przelewy24 payment gateway on the k2agro.pl website.
  2. A reduced-price ticket is intended exclusively for persons belonging to at least one of the following categories:
    • individuals conducting business in the agricultural production sector (in particular pig production),
    • employees of the animal production sector,
    • students of zootechnical or veterinary sciences.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to verify whether the Applicant or the indicated Participant meets the criteria specified in paragraph 2, in particular by requesting the presentation of an appropriate document (e.g., student ID, CEIDG/KRS entry, veterinary license).
  4. If it is determined that the Applicant or the indicated Participant does not meet the criteria specified in § 2, the Organizer may refuse to process the application for a discounted Ticket or request an additional fee up to the price of a standard Ticket.
  5. Persons and entities not meeting the criteria specified in § 2. 2 are obligated to purchase a standard Ticket.
  6. Current prices for the discounted Ticket and the standard Ticket are indicated on the Website and may vary depending on the date of purchase (e.g., promotional price, standard price).

§ 5. Purchasing a Discounted Ticket via the Purchase Form

  1. To register the purchase of a discounted Ticket, complete the Purchase Form available on the Website, providing:
    • the Applicant’s first and last name,
    • the name of the company or farm,
    • the Tax Identification Number (NIP) (for invoicing purposes),
    • the Farm Identification Number (WNI) – if applicable,
    • address,
    • telephone number,
    • email address,
    • farm type (breeding farm, fattening farm, closed cycle) – if applicable,
    • name and surname of the Participant or Participants participating in the Congress.
  2. The scope of required data may vary depending on the category to which the Applicant belongs (e.g., a student does not provide their WNI number and farm type), in accordance with the form available on the Website.
  3. Completing and submitting the Purchase Form requires acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy by checking the appropriate checkboxes. Failure to accept the form will prevent the submission of the application.
  4. Submitting the Purchase Form does not constitute conclusion of the Agreement or payment. This constitutes an application, which is subject to verification by the Organizer in accordance with § 4.
  5. After positive verification of the application, the Organizer will send confirmation of receipt of the application, along with an invoice and payment instructions, to the Applicant’s email address.
  6. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by the Organizer of receipt of payment for the Discount Ticket.
  7. The Applicant is obligated to provide accurate information. The Agreement cannot be concluded anonymously or under a pseudonym.
  8. It is prohibited to submit illegal content via the Purchase Form.

§ 6. Purchase of a Standard Ticket via Przelewy24

  1. Purchase of a Standard Ticket is made via the Przelewy24 payment gateway, available on the k2agro.pl website.
  2. To purchase a Standard Ticket, please:
    • Select Standard Ticket and go to the purchase form on the k2agro.pl website,
    • Provide the Applicant’s details: first and last name, company name, Tax Identification Number (NIP), address, telephone number, email address,
    • Provide the first and last name of the Participant(s),
    • accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy,
    • make payment via the Przelewy24 system (card, transfer, BLIK).
  3. The Agreement is concluded upon receipt of payment confirmation by the Organizer.
  4. The Organizer will send confirmation of the Agreement and an invoice to the email address provided.
  5. The terms and conditions for the provision of services by Przelewy24 are specified in the terms and conditions of this service, available on the payment operator’s website.

§ 7. Registration of Multiple Participants in a Single Order

  1. The Applicant may indicate more than one Participant in a single registration (Purchase Form or purchase via Przelewy24) (maximum 5 people per order).
  2. The Applicant is responsible for the accuracy of the data of all indicated Participants and for informing them about the processing of their personal data in connection with their participation in the Congress.
  3. The invoice and correspondence related to the application are directed issued to the Applicant, regardless of the number of indicated Participants.
  4. Participation IDs are issued on-site based on the name and surname provided in the application.

§ 8. Payment Terms

  1. Current ticket prices are indicated on the Website and may change over time (e.g., promotional presave price, standard price).
  2. Payment for a discounted ticket is based on an invoice sent by the Organizer after the application is verified, in accordance with § 5.
  3. Payment for a standard ticket is made in advance, in full, via the Przelewy24 system.
  4. Payment is required to confirm participation in the Congress and reserve a seat.
  5. The provision of services is documented invoices, in accordance with applicable regulations. The default form of providing invoices is electronic.

§ 9. Cancellation or change of date of the Congress

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or change the date of the Congress for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, in particular in the event of force majeure, decisions of public administration bodies, unavailability of the venue where the Congress is planned, or other circumstances preventing its conduct.
  2. The Organizer will immediately inform Applicants of the cancellation or change of date of the Congress via the email address provided in the registration and by an announcement on the Website.
  3. In the event of cancellation of the Congress, the Applicant is entitled to a full refund of the payment made, unless the Applicant agrees to transfer the payment to the next edition of the Congress.
  4. In the event of a change of date of the Congress, the Applicant has The right to withdraw from participation and receive a full refund of the deposit if the new date is not suitable, which should be notified to the Organizer within the time specified in the information about the change of date.

§ 10. Withdrawal from Participation in the Congress

  1. The Applicant may withdraw from the Participant’s participation in the Congress by contacting the Organizer via the email address provided on the Website.
  2. The terms of withdrawal, including the possibility and amount of a partial refund of the deposit, are agreed individually with the Organizer, depending on the deadline for submitting the withdrawal in relation to the Congress date.
  3. The Applicant may, in consultation with the Organizer, transfer the ticket to another person without having to withdraw from participation, by informing the Organizer of the change in the Participant’s details.
  4. In the event of withdrawal submitted on the day of the Congress or failure to show up without prior notice, The Organizer, the payment made is non-refundable.

§ 11. Complaints

  1. The Applicant or Participant has the right to submit a complaint regarding the organization of the Congress or the operation of the Website by sending an email to: info@kongresprodukcjiswin.pl.
  2. The complaint should include a detailed description of the identified irregularity and the contact details of the person submitting the complaint (first name, last name, email address).
  3. The Organizer will review the complaint and respond within 14 days of its receipt, informing them of the decision via email.
  4. Complaints that do not contain the information indicated in paragraph 2 will not be considered.

§ 12. Personal Data and Congress Materials

  1. The Organizer has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
  2. The principles for processing the personal data of Applicants and Participants are specified in the Privacy Policy available on the Website.
  3. Applicants and Participants have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  4. The Organizer hereby informs that during the Congress, photographs and video materials are taken, which may include the image of Participants, and which will be used in promotional materials for the Congress and the Organizer, including on the website, in social media, and in after-movie materials.
  5. Participation in the Congress constitutes consent to Free use of the Participant’s image recorded during the Congress to the extent specified in paragraph 4, of which Participants are informed before the event and by marking the registration areas during the Congress.
  6. A Participant who does not consent to the use of their image should inform the Organizer before the Congress via the email address provided on the Website.

§ 13. Liability

  1. The Organizer and the Applicant are obligated to compensate the other party for any damage suffered as a result of non-performance or improper performance of obligations under the Regulations, unless the non-performance or improper performance was a result of circumstances for which the party is not responsible, in particular force majeure.
  2. Neither party shall be liable to the other party for lost profits.
  3. The Organizer is not liable for:
    • damages resulting from the Applicant providing false, outdated, or incomplete data,
    • damages resulting from the Applicant’s or Participant’s failure to comply with the provisions of the Regulations,
    • the Participants’ behavior during the Congress violating legal provisions or the personal rights of third parties,
    • damages resulting from causes beyond the control of the Organizer. Organizer, including force majeure.

§ 14. Final Provisions

  1. The Regulations are effective from the date of publication until further notice, subject to the changes indicated in section 2.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Regulations for the following reasons:
    • changes in generally applicable law,
    • fulfillment of an obligation resulting from a court ruling or decision of administrative bodies,
    • organizational changes regarding the manner of conducting the Congress.
  3. Information about changes to the Regulations will be posted on the Website at least 14 days in advance before the changes come into effect.
  4. The invalidity or ineffectiveness of any provision of the Regulations does not affect the validity or The effectiveness of other provisions.
  5. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means, the Civil Code, and other applicable laws shall apply.
  6. Any disputes related to the Congress will be resolved by a Polish common court.
  7. Regardless of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, it is possible to use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, available, among others, at the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (www.uokik.gov.pl).
  8. The Terms and Conditions are available free of charge on the Website and may be downloaded, reproduced, and saved by any Submitter.
